A journey back to creativity
Returning to my love of art after a long career in corporate business brought both apprehension and profound excitement. Making that transition allowed me to rediscover my creative voice and commit to my true calling. Today, painting is where I can escape the noise of the everyday world and express how I truly see it, translating raw emotion and vibrant atmosphere directly onto the canvas.
Immortalising beauty and nature
Seeing a beautiful scene in real life instantly sparks my imagination and makes me want to immortalise it so that others can pause, look closer, and appreciate the beauty of the world around us. Living and working around Newquay, provides endless organic scenery and changing skies, inspiring works that celebrate the subtle harmony and power of natural landscapes.
The story of Fandragon
The name Fandragon has been an integral part of my identity for many years. It began with an earthy connection to nature and a fond family tradition: my father always affectionately referred to my mother as 'The Dragon'. When she passed away, my sisters and I proudly took on the title in her honour. Fandragon Art carries this heritage of strength, family affection, and creative passion forward into every piece.
