A  stormy day during Storm Austen at the Lewinnick lodge Newquay. White sea horses shown stampeding towards the shore atop of deep blue waves, while white and grey clouds rush along with them.

An old wooden fence stops the traveller from going onto the cliff edge, the rough scrub framing and caressing the white sign, while framing old slabs and pebbles behind it. Deep shadows hide behind the fencing, reflecting the bright but blustery day.

This piece portrays a full moon glowing above bands of softly rendered clouds set against a deep charcoal sky. Pale grey detail brings texture to the lunar surface while muted blue grey clouds add depth to the monochrome scene.

Out of an active sea flies a Manta Ray the dark sea an excellent background for the white of the Manta.

No one knows why Manta Rays leap from the depths of the sea - perhaps it is purely joie de vivre!!
